SAFETY ON THE AIRPLANES

Probably some of you have seen the story on Yahoo's website about safety on the airplanes.

For me it was all new.
I bet there is much more to discover, but for starter this is pretty awakening.

It was very interesting and worth to read.
I can't show the link because I can't find it any more.
But I try to summarize what was it all about.

Most of us - passengers - don't pay attention when the stewardess explains instructions for emergency. They actually don't talk about details that would draw our attention. That is for sure.
But if they would, maybe we would be a bit scared for flying.

1. Safety on airplanes - oxygen masks
Put it on straight as it falls in front of you before you pass out. In that height the outside pressure will suck out all oxygen from the aircraft if there is a hole breach. Then you will have maybe half minute or less to breath. So better take care of yourself firs, than you can help your neighbor.

2. Safety on airplanes - cover your head
When you look carefully at the safety card, you will notice the proper position to cover your head. If you are right handed, than cover your right hand with your left (while protecting your head at the same time). If something hits you there, later you will still have your better hand unharmed.

There was much more to learn but I don't want to steal all the story.
I bet it is very easy to find even more interesting stuff on the Internet about safety on the airplain.

Take care!
