Pirlimpimpim, our lovely little hamster (2 years old) joined his brother last night at 3:30am. He took his last breath in Dewi's hand after a week fight for his life. He got a tumor and probably the cancer spread out in his body. He lost a lot of weight and strength but he's willing for life was incredible. Even 15 min before he died he drunk and ate and tried to walk but he fell many times. We never had such a great friend who was waiting for us in his last minutes. We are sorry Pimpim that you had to suffer but we are happy that you never gave up. Say hi to Mimion and have fun on the other side! Thanks for all the love and joy u gave us! We'll always love u guys.

BT INFINITY ... TRICKY BASTARDS!
Okay, here it is. The new fiber optic internet from BT (UK).
Fast? - Yes.
Is it a big difference for an average internet user? - Pffff, NO!
What did I get? 2 extra plastic boxes with plugs and MORE cables. Fuck yeah!
If I am not happy with that why did I get it?
Here's the story:
BT always calling landlines with annoying offers. Maybe 2 months ago they offered me the new internet package. I said: thx no, I'm happy with what I got already. They kept calling again and again, and I kept refusing their offer again and again :) Until now :(
So I agreed to get the faster internet just to get rid of their calls.
Do I see any difference? No!
.
.
.
...actually YES I do. Now I got and extra hub and a freakin' modem sitting in my window.
Before this I got the hub (functioning as the phone-base and charger) together with the landline phone... all in one!!! How nice.
The BT Infinity package did not include phone, but they gave that shit modem with the hub. And because sometimes I want to use the phone, I had to keep the old hub too. So now I have 3 boxes and cables everywhere. I hate cables.
Why I say BT is tricky? Because they told me that I will have faster internet (on same price) and I will have my phone too, like before. But they never told me about the details: that I will have to keep the old phone with the hub if I want to use the phone and in addition I will get the new hub and modem to use the fiber optic internet.
They did not lie to me... they just did not give full information. Clever boys.
I am trying to get rid of all shit what makes our home look like a charity shop... and here we are: more crap.
Thank u very much!

Don't look for me any more on facebook... I deactivated my account. I think I will delete it soon too. I also deleted my profile from my hungarian social networkin site. Never used it really. I had it 6 years long. That's it. Feels good somehow:)

GOOD NEWS - BAD NEWS
Today Dewi successfully finished her CBT test. Now we only need the registration done and she can ride the scooter.
She is getting better day by day from the tracheo bronchitis but healing goes slowly.
Pirlimpimpim is old and this week he lost a lot of weight for some reason. We hope that he will get back to normal soon as a cute well-shaped hamster.
I forgot to write when I hit a stupid pedestrian with the bicycle. Yes, people are crossing the road by red light, they don't care about traffic and I ran into one of them with full speed. I landed on the road but the idiot just walked away. Luckily only my lamp broke but I was really pissed. Fuckin' idiots!
Our neighbours moved out last week and the owner is renovating the empty flat. The workers broke the padlock from the garage without asking anyone for the key. On top of that we are not allowed to put new padlock any more because it is against the fire regulations...the firemen can not enter if there is a fire. Cars, bicycles, scooters, gardening tools, etc are in the garage... and we must not lock it! Unbelievable!
I have 12 days payed holidays left until April, so I took 7 Mondays off. Which means that in the next 2 months I will have to work only 4 days a week :)

COMPAL iFL90/91 LAPTOP
Yes, fixed again !!!
This is my good old friend. Purchased in 2007 from Cyberpower Inc. online.
Still working, still running, almost every day since I got it. And today I made it last a bit more longer again :)
About a year ago the GPU got tired and I had a black-screen issue. I fixed the problem putting the videocard into the oven on 200*C for 10-15 min. Until yesterday this lovely machine was running with no crash at all. But yesterday I experienced a new problem: I got graphic errors on screen and the laptop was restarting all the time. Also the screen got tiled up to 6 'smaller parts' making impossible to use the system normally. So I had to do the oven-solution again. It seems to be working, and I hope it will keep this great computer alive for another long period. Thanks to God I can use it again :)
