BOX OF CHOCOLATE

Heyyyy dudes!

Today I had a nice surprise during work. A beautiful black girl (maybe lady, she looked young) came to me and said Thanks because about a month ago I found her mobile phone and she could get it back! She gave me a box of chocolate, and made me very happy..... (well, not like "that")
We find many things in the restaurant but it's very rare that people appreciate it like she did. Too bad it was the busiest hour so I couldn't talk to her more than a minute, but I think she saw the joy on my stupid face :)

The other very positive thing after that: I got fantastic back-wind on the way home. No, I'm not talking about the fart. Although that is also a fantastic feeling! I made it less than 25 minutes without pushing my physic over the limit when cycling home. Niiiice and smoooth and faaassst!

X-MAS MANU AT MY WORKLPACE

Oohhhh my Goodnessss! What a low quality disaster! Even worse than last year :(

Today is Sunday and I spent 3 hours in the restaurant to learn and taste the Christmas-menu. XY people will never learn how to cook. (And they are the biggest arrogant assholes what a restaurant could have in a high position. Everywhere in this (location).) (I had to say this.)
The reason I'm writing indirect is because I don't want to hurt most people's feeling and I don't want to sound too offensive. But come on! This is my personal blog site.. so why not write how I see life?

Well, back to the story:
Starters, mains and desserts: all shit looking and tasting dishes. Last time I had like this was when I was a student and got my meal in the high school/university restaurant. Honestly, I'm telling you guys, only the plastic tray is missing now and I feel like 15 years ago.

There are 2 things though, which will probably save the company (again):
1. the customers who visiting our site have no idea and expectation about a proper festive menu.
2. the building and the decoration will occupy half of their attention
+1: hopefully they will drink a lot

(If any of my colleague or manager reads this.... I don't care!)

.
.
.
this is my own reaction about the above mentioned....and today's date is 2nd of January, 2012.
The menu was looking much better as I described (not sure about the taste though). I based my previous opinion on the sample menu what we got before the xmas started. That was shit. This was way better.

STRESS AT JOB

Last Friday - yesterday - was such a crap day. I was in a dilemma; should I or should I not write about it. First I thought this will be the 1st thing when I arrive home. But than... why bother readers with negative things? And than again: "always stick with the plan" - so I am going to tell the story...

...in a strange way :)

+ was happy at 5am --> finish early at 12pm
- got caught by rain --> forgot to bring the other jeans --> had to work in wet one
+ jeans dried very fast
- colleague came late --> had to do more job and faster --> restaurant was full at breakfast
+ managed to do basic things in time
- kitchen and bar missed food and drinks --> had to apologize repeatedly to the customers
- just when everything got worst --> I broke 20 water glasses
- on top of all: colleague went home again --> manager asked me to say longer
(at this point I was really pissed off !!!)
+ I still left at 12pm, and because of my heavenly nice nature I forgot about the shitty day pretty soon

WINE TRAINING

Hello...
It is almost 9pm and I just arrived from a wine training. We had people from every restaurant of the company, and we had a really nice time. (Don't say "nice" 'cause my manager don't like to use this word, especially not when we describe a wine :) Our trainer - Fanni - is a great teacher and entertainer in one. Always a pleasure to take part of her lessons. At the end after the small test we had the privilege to have a taste of the most expensive red wine on the wine-list - the Italian "Barolo".

That's all for tonight. Bye.

LONDON PLANETARIUM

Today we had an amazing experience at the London Planetarium watching the show of "The Secret Lives Of Stars". I want something like that in my future home. 360° 3D visuals. Trust me guys, the time is close to be able to have this technology in everyone's home entertainment.
Than we went to the local Greenwich Market and had some lunch too.

We traveled to Chinatown after that to get Dewi's Indonesian food. We also checked what's new in my favorite store: Forbidden Planet. If I would've some extra money I could buy 5% of that shop:) The place got a full size warrior statue from the new game: Skyrim. I played Morrowind and Oblivion before and I can't w8 to try this one too.

We were a bit tired after last night not sleeping too much, so as soon as we got back home around 5pm we slept until 10 o'clock :) Now we got the energy to stay awake and let the hamsters out for a long run. Poor little creatures need time outside their cages. The only problem is they wake up around 11pm when we really have to go to sleep cause both of us start early in the job.

I checked "what's cookin'" this evening in the Birkbeck Tavern. Irish music. I stay home :) But tomorrow there will be jazz. Maybe I will stay there for an hour or so.

Here r some photos about today:

TONIGHT IN A PUB

Tonight I stepped outside our front door and was chillin' in the cold a bit :]] As usual I heard music from the pub which is only 20 steps away. It was soo good I decided to check it out. Went inside the pub, grabbed a pint of Fosters and climbed the stairs up to the room, where the band was playing. It was my favorite kind of music when it's about having a drink with live-music. COWBELL. 1 guitarist guy and a drummer girl. Awesome music, great atmosphere, I really enjoyed it. Check out this videoklip to have a little taste of them :)

DINNER

My sandwich dinner:
bread- BBQ sauce - turkey ham - red onion - scrambled egg - cheese ------- 6 of 'em :P

GARDENING, CHILLING, PLANNING.

Hello people! I was thinking what if I change the look of the site? I'm considering to have a Hungarian version, so those friends of mine from home who don't speak english can also understand.

Other than that, not much going on. I was outside working a bit in the garden. It always make me feel good ... the smell of weed (..not that weed) and grass, soil and wood. So I cleaned up a bit.

Just finished a large spicy pizza and a cup of tea. Sweating a bit from the chili :] Rudi woke up to drink. Pimpim's sleeping as always. Haven't heard anything about my old friends recently. Today I still want to cut my hair... what's left of it. I wonder if I will? Oh yeah.. last week I started to grow mustache 'cause the guys in the restaurant doing it too. But I just cut it off yesterday:] Don't care any more.

I wish I would have more to say/write, but no. I played a bit RoM. Did not read my book at all :[ (Lazy bastard!) ((No, it's not the name of the book.)) There is something going on in the neighborhood, cause they are building something. Pretty noisy the guys are!

I watched yesterday the newest episode of the Clone Wars animation and I must say (for me) it is one of the best part since the beginning. (Plan of Dissent)

Well that's all for now. I'm just waiting for a call from my grandmother to get a recipe of a long forgotten dish.
Bye.

ps.: about the planning part: not yet completed :]

NEW CANCER TREATMENT

Good news for the earthlings! Scientists worked out a new light-based treatment for killing cancer cells and it could replace chemotherapy. This method does not damage the tissue around the cells and does not cause harmful radiation. Everybody happy now!

I JUST DON'T GET IT

I keep checking my page-view statistics, and I learned that the most visited post was an earlier post : the "weather forecast". It must be a very common search term on the internet, so I changed the title to "loooovely day". But WTF!? It is still the most visited page, although it has nothing interesting about the weather. Why people keep checking that post? There are much better stories here. It really gives me headache.... Why is it so popular?

2005 YU55 - A VISITOR FROM FAR AWAY

Tomorrow at 10:28 pm (gmt) a 1300ft wide carbon asteroid will pass by Earth (distance: 200.000 miles (closer than Moon)). But no worries, it will not hit us, just say Hi! It is very faint, it's surface darker than charcoal, so no much chance to see. Hmmm...lucky us! (source: telegraph.co.uk)

SOLAR STORM

In the next 5 days there is a possibility that a huge solar storm will hit our planet. It is not 100% but a group of black spots (17 times wider area than Earth) in the Sun are going to face us and there is a chance for a magnetic outbreak. If so, than it could cause a little chaos. It can reach us in only within 45 minuets and could change the directions of the radio-wawes above our planet. Last Thursday (Nov.3.2011) it showed what it can produce and you can see the explosion on the second picture. On the first picture you can see the black spots on the upper left part of the Sun. REALITY SHOWS

Yes, I am watching one of them. I find it sometimes really entertaining.
The reason I write about it now is that today the public finally vote for the person who I wanted to go back in game. There was a challenge between 2 girls: brain vs body. A lawyer vs a mallkitty. (The second is s dumb sexy girl who's life is just hanging out in shopping malls all day and never worked in her whole life.) So the public chose the lawyer. Meaning: There is still hope for hungarians:] Last time I was a bit disappointed because a funny guy lost and a very very boring guy had the chance to continue the game. My point of view is to vote back those who can entertain. That is the program all about. To give some fun hours to the people who watching the show.

4 DIGITS :)

Thank You People!

1000 page views!

It is a really nice surprise which gave me this awesome number sometimes between 6 and 9 am this morning. Nice one!

ANOTHER WEEK GONE

...  seems like the last couple months passed away so fast. A Monday comes and it's already Friday... than a short weekend and a new week is here. But before we realize, it's already weekend again. Hmm? Somebody told me: one sign of the end of this world is that the time will seem to go faster. Weeks like days, months like weeks, something like that.. well the fact is: we got only tomorrow left and a new week will start. My wife's telling me "that it's because it's almost winter. Even the hamsters sleep longer than before."  hehe:]

Today I unlocked the Blackberry I found a month ago :] Cost me £10. Interesting how these "unlocker" guys doing their business. "Give me the phone and come back in 20 min." Ya right, and what's the guarantee that u will be here, or u won't pretend that u never saw me before??? Well it's kinda trust-thingy here in London. But works. It's the second time I unlocked a phone and nothing unpleasant happened. I even gave him £2 extra.

Ok, this is funny: since we moved to this flat, we keep getting bills and mails from companies addressed to the previous tenants. At the first time we just collected those mails, so in case they want to get it they can have it. And one of them came couple times. But than I asked him: why don't you change your mailing address? I will not keep all your letters here forever. He said: ye-ye-ye I'll do that. But he didn't. We decided to return all letters to the sender after that. Than this summer a bailiff came because all the previous tenants collected shitload of debts and the officer came to check if they still living here. Last Friday we got a gas bill (there is no gas-line in the entire building, everything is electric), and I opened the letter cause I wanted to know wtf going on now again. The bill was £721 for that guy. I won't send back anymore the mail. Since i got my shredder i will just destroy them! Ha ha ha! But a couple minutes ago before I did this evil operation, I thought: what if i check Facebook... maybe the guy is registered. And surprise!!! He is. Maybe I will call that bailiff and tell him about it.

...or maybe I don't give a shit :]

NEW START

Ok.. theoretically today I reached 8000 km since I cycle in London.

...GZ!!
...TY, TY,...

Sooo from Monday I will put back the speedometer and start recording again from zero.

I had a nice rainy ride this morning, but who cares! Actually it felt good. Much better than that shitty tube and bus with full of stinky, sick and dirty people. Aaaand it doesn't cost a penny. Aaaaaaaand much faster too.

:)

CHILDHOOD

Most of you have never seen on TV the cartoons what filled my childhood with fun and joy. Still I want to upload this page with pictures about them and say a Big Thank You to the creators and characters :]
The memories are treasures.
